Rubber Door Mats or Carpet Mats

Carpet Matting is typically used indoors at entryways where people are likely to move from "soiled" to "clean" areas and want to avoid tracking debris or moisture. Carpeted mats are ideal for this due to the natural grab and absorbency of carpet fibers. The type and size of mat best suited for an application will depend on what the mat will be exposed to and how it will be used.
For regular doorway entry areas, smaller mats are usually preferred. Polyester carpet mats can be used in this instance to absorb some moisture and hide dirt. Other general uses include factories, office, retail shops, and office buildings which incur heavy foot traffic and great walkway definition. Polyester mats tend to be the most cost effective matting as well.
In areas with slightly heavier foot traffic and frequent exposures to moisture, the Olefin mats will offer great traction and absorption. For larger rooms with high foot traffic these mats provide excellent wear resistance along with tremendous stain and fade resistance. The non-slip vinyl backing helps ensure the mat will stay in place on the floor. Olefin mats are recommended in the rainy season for schools, churches, and department stores where people are likely to enter or exit a room tracking somewhat high levels of water.
Often referred to as "The Greatest Scraper Mat in the Market," Polypropylene carpet mats are the premier choice for non-slip vinyl backed carpet mats. The ribbed surface traps debris from outdoors to prevent tracking indoors. And because it resist stains and fading, it typically lasts longer and looks better over time than nearly any other carpet mat. This mat is excellent for pathways which need surface protection from heavy foot traffic.
All of the carpet mats mentioned above are usually available in 3 ft or 4 ft widths within a couple of days of ordering. Custom lengths are also typically available as well.
