Press Release April, 11 2011 - Rubber-Cal Casts Its Vote for Team Coco On Tomorrow’s Episode of Conan

Santa Ana, Calif., February 11, 2011 – Rubber-Cal, Inc. recently participated in a home improvement project for community outreach. The company’s Terra-Flex Rubber Tiles appeared on the “Lutz Family” episode of ABC’s popular television show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. The episode aired October 3, 2010 on the ABC Network.

Kathleen Lutz and her brother John could not afford to care for their six siblings and pay for renovations on their crumbling home in East Setauket, New York. ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition needed a soft, safe surface for the six Lutz siblings living with Down syndrome.

The Rubber-Cal Company donated 2,000 square feet of Terra-Flex tiles to the Lutz family’s new home. The show’s crew used the soft rubber flooring to remodel the main living area and bedrooms.
