A real tough, very attractive, yet heavy duty rubber mat which will outlast the meanest treadmills. The aptly named Maxx-Tuff is designed to protect floors from wear & tear of commercial or residential fitness equipment. This is the ultimate treadmill mat.

3/4" Shark Tooth

The Shark Tooth mats can protect floors from damage caused by the impact from commercial treadmill and other gym equipment. The Shark Tooth protects parts and sub-floors from dings, scuffs, and other damage, as well as reducing noise and impact.

Mats for treadmills are used to eliminate potential machine slippage and to reduce sound vibrations from the equipment. Rubber-Cal's treadmill mats are offered in a variety of gauges, from 1/4 (0.25) of an inch to 3/4 inch thick. The 1/4 (0.250) inch or 3/8 (0.375) inch Elephant Bark mat provides a good level of noise reduction and shock absorption that is caused by treadmills. Elephant Bark treadmill mats would be available in custom sizes and more easily fabricated to specific dimensions to fit treadmill machines which require a mat larger than 6 foot. The 3/4 (0.75) inch thick Shark Tooth treadmill mat is a molded rubber mat product (Max size is 4ft x 6ft), and offers very high levels of noise and vibration reduction, from treadmills, through its ample thickness. Shark Tooth, more often than not, will satisfy the sound and vibration reduction required by multi-tenant buildings. This way a second floor treadmill will transmit less noise down to the tenants below. The Maxx-Tuff treadmill mat, on the other hand, combines toughness, with a very attractive top surface, yet is a heavy duty rubber treadmill mat which will outlast the meanest gym & fitness machinery and absorb lots of vibration. The waffled bottom surface of this treadmill mat, makes it a more impact absorbing treadmill surfacing.
