Skirtboard Rubber: The front curtain is made from the physically resilient synthetic rubber known as skirtboard. Skirtboard is a blend of SBR and Gum rubber. The front flap for the Masco® Type A sweeper kit comes in two different thickness options. You have a choice between 1/8” and 1/4” thick skirtboard rubber. Thanks to the tough skirtboard material, the front curtain of your Type A Masco® sweepers will be able to handle physically abrasive conditions.
Conveyor Belt: Unlike the front flap, the rear flap is made from a different rubber. The rubber compound used to make the rear flap is a 3ply conveyor belt rubber. This rubber is prized for being a heavy-duty material that can handle tough physical demands of street sweeping. This elastomer contains a 3ply fabric material inside of it that gives it an enhanced level of physical stability while it is attached to the vehicle.
Affordable Masco® Parts: Perhaps our biggest advantage over the brand name companies like Masco® lies within our competitive prices. Our sweeper parts are more affordable for the independent operators who have strict budgets.
