The HD hose has a wall thickness of 0.045” while the MD hose wall is 0.035” thick. It is important to know what level of debris you intend to put through these sweeper parts. The heavier duty clear flexible hose will be able to handle almost anything thrown at it, while the medium duty hose can be a bit more affordable for regular light to mid-level sweeping jobs.
