1(a). Rubber Parts for Street Sweepers

A popular use of rubber comes in the form of rubber street sweeper parts due to rubber’s durability and elasticity which allows it to perform its duties well without causing damage to the surface. Street sweepers are an essential part of the city or town’s sanitation and maintenance which is why it is important to use wear-resistant rubber to prevent tears or breaks that may decrease the effectiveness of the sweeper. The rubber parts used in street sweepers are mostly durable flaps, designed to collect debris ready for suction from the flexible vacuum hose on either side of the sweeper vehicle. These rubber parts are made of Skirtboard or heavy conveyor belts which makes these items extremely durable against physical abrasions such as rocks and rough surfaces. 1(b). Rubber Parts for Snow Plows

The use of rubber parts on snow plows is important to the function of the machine as it is responsible for clearing snow on roads and driveways to create a safe mode of transportation while also being elastic enough not to damage the surfaces. Rubber parts in the form of cutting edges create a barrier between the hard metal blade of the snow plow and the surface of the road and driveway to avoid damage. The rubber items that we produce for snow plowing are made with a wear-resistant rubber called Skirtboard, a blend of natural and styrene butadiene rubber (SBR), which is widely known for its good durability and resistance to outdoor weather conditions. The use of rubber here is important, because it has more flexibility than other materials and does not damage the surfaces being plowed. Furthermore, having blade parts made of wear-resistant rubber gives premium abrasion resistance qualities that is required of any rubber parts for snow plows. Additionally, three types of rubber are available with tensile strengths of 725 PSI, 1500 PSI and 2000 PSI with the higher levels of tensile strength being able to withstand more abrasive environments.

1(c). Rubber Woodworking Belts

Our woodworking belts are made of three different types of rubber: pure gum, rough top nitrile, and carboxylated nitrile. Belts made of pure gum rubber are meant to be a slightly sticky, offering more traction in order to keep the wood materials firmly on the body of the belt. Rough top nitrile is the most common type of belt and exhibits excellent durability. The carboxylated version, on the other hand, is a wear-resistant rubber meant for the most physically demanding types of woodworking applications.

What Uses Flexible Ducts?

Flexible ducts are used by industrial workplaces, homes and city sanitation services due to the versatility provided by its flexibility and durability.
