Description:

This FDA Grade Silicone sheeting is commonly used in applications where food or consumables are present.  The ingredients used to make this product are listed in CFR 177. 2600, an FDA regulation dealing with rubber articles intended for repeated use in contact with food.  It is resistant to both high and low temperature extremes, and is commonly used for gasketing solutions in harsh environments.

PSA:

Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (Tyco 3281A) is available in a standard PSA acrylic (200F continuous 225F intermittent) version and a HTAPSA high temperature acrylic (350F continuous 450F intermittent) version.

Chemical Resistance:

Excellent resistance to Acetic Acid, Ammonia Gas (hot and cold), Corn Oil, Fish Oil, Lime Sulfur, Methyl Ether, Ozone, Sodium Sulfate, Tartaric Acid, Vinegar, and many more.  For Silicones compatibility with your specific medium please consult a Rubber-Cal representative.

Flexibility:

This medium durometer (55-65) sheet rubber offers moderate pliability and elasticity.
